This blog is for giving information about swing dancing in Korea
This is perfect!!! Thank you for all your hard work :)
Hey Adamas, could you also list when/if there are lessons being held at any of these locations? Also, a little mention about the use of nicknames might be good to add in the intro somewhere.I'll pass on any other suggestions as I get them :)See you tonight at boogie woogie!Sue Mi
Chris! You are very welcome and thank you for visiting.Sue Mi, see you at Boogie Woogie and let's talk further.
This site is great. I just got back to the states after a stint as an English teacher in Seoul. I learned Lindy in Seoul with SwingIs (Fiesta, Konkuk) and SwingOne (Swing Bar, Sinsa).I wish I could have seen your site a year ago! I think you're going to help a lot of people.Drew
Hello, Drew.I got your picture from Moran then I remember I saw you at Fiesta. You may not remember me but hope to see you around.Have a good dance in your home town, too. :-)
Hello! I'm so glad to have found this site. I notice you are updating locations. Do you know of any places near Sinchon/Hongik University that give lessons in English?Thank you!
Hi Jessica,‘Happy bar’ is located in Sinchon/Hongik University, however there is no English lesson. I think you can try the swing dance lesson even if it is in Korean. Sometimes it is really happen. Actually there is no place to give regular lessons in English, but one place in Iteawon. I saw it near from Hamilton Hotel, however it is not a regular swing scene in Seoul. So I do not have information about it. I will check when I go to Iteawon later.Kangseok
Okay, I see that there is swing dancing in suwon at 'Turn' and I see that is it in the pladalmun or namun area, and that it is in the area of junang cinema...but I really cannot find this place. I have asked several people and they all send me in different directions. Can you please tell me where it is located? Thank youMaria
